This large stadium and recreation complex is situated on the outskirts of Suwon and was used as a venue for the 2002 World Cup.  The stadium was designed to serve as a home for the Samsung Blue Wings soccer team while at the same providing recreational facilities for the surrounding community when the stadium is not in use.

The major program elements are the stadium itself, practice fields, a sports and leisure complex, a golf driving range, a hockey ring, an amphitheater and a "miniature World" amusement park.
